  1. Gorgeous. You never cease to amaze. (However, I'm still doubtful that spring has arrived on this end of the planet....there was frost out in the morning! So sick of it!!)

    FROST!! no jinxing! It is Spring with cherry blossoms and the works. BTW if the little girl on the left bares a small resemblance to your O then what can I say -she is a cutie.

    @Jamie
    well thanks. I have devoted some time this year to learning how to knit- to sort of help me relax. HAH! I really want to be a legendary knitter- how do YOU DO IT!!!!!!

  9. ha ha glad I could make your day. Its not a lie though. I look at your books for inspiration and study the way that you do your characters. Its not that I want to copy, I just feel like your work is a great reference for learning how to repeat characters. I always want to render every little detail... instead I look to the way that you capture the essence of characters and make them so believable that they are almost breathing.

  10. Candace, I do that too! Though I am flattered you are looking at me! I always have paint splattered volumes laying around everywhere. I sneak into my kids rooms and steal their books too. Ha-ha. I am a magpie-
